Hey dudes! A film student named Dalis Ponrattanasiri made a live-action adaptation of my first Flight story as a final thesis. It's really interesting to see another take on the story. I think it's pretty awesome. Check it out!

Sigh I really wish I have flash on a computer with a connection in a place somewhere other than a dial up.

I think it doesn't do justice to your story. It's not bad, but the whole atmosphere is wrong. And she is too casual for such a monumental experience.
I love your story, by the way.

I dunno, she's pretty casual in the story too!

Right, she was casual, but in a way that emphasized her loneliness. So her jumping was expected. It's probably, just acting. Still, nice attempt. Very good for a student.

I liked it! The slight dialogue changes all seem like appropriate ones, and it flows pretty naturally.

I have a hard time imagining how I'd view it if I'd never read the comic, though.
And I wish it kept the ambiguous disappearance of the guy at the end.

It's certainly well done for a student film. But if anything, I think it just highlights the strenght of comics over film in certain instances. Especially a story like this.

Of course the biggest weakness of student film is student acting.

Still, I think it was well done, and it was neat to see another take on your story. The thing I wonder about most is why they didn't just use your actual artwork for the animation bits.

I hear that Brosgol chick is one litigious little minx.

Very nice for a student film, but I still like the original comic better.

But yeah, you know, nice.

Are you planning on doing more comics, some day ?

i haven't seen teh original, but this was pretty cool! Teh acting was a touch cheesy, but then, it's a college film, so that's to be expected.

So . . . she jumps . . . then? I've never been clear on the ending. But does she fly . . . AMBIGUITY!
