Thanks so much for all the awesome travel tips, everyone! I wanted to reply personally to each one but I've had the lurghy and haven't been up to sitting at the computer. I am reading through them and will be doing as many of them as I can bully my lazy boyfriend into. You are all lovely and helpful.

So we're here, after a day and a half of travel. Considering we're both sickos it went remarkably well. We got to our hotel about 36 hours after leaving home and immediately headed out to visit the Fantastic Mr. Fox set. That movie is amazing-looking. Creepy, almost. Like nothing else. Watch out. I nearly fell asleep in the puppet shop but I remember being very impressed. Then I ate a chicken pasty and went to bed for fifteen hours. Pretty good considering.

Jeremy is still in bed (AT NOON) but I think we're going to explore the Spitalfields Market/Liverpool St. area today, since it's close to the hotel and we are weeeeeeak. Maybe see the Francis Bacon exhibit at the Tate Modern if we have energy. I am anxious to make the most of this trip since we're only here until Tuesday, but I know I'm not going to get to do everything I want to do. And I guess that's okay. It's so nice to be back. And it's not even raining (yet).

I forgot my ipod, though.

Oh! That reminds me, I don't know if anyone mentioned this but there's alot of fun shops, pretty architecture and adorable buskers hanging around Covent Garden http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covent_Garden I'm not sure if this is near your hotel, but I think I remember it being fairly easy to access by the underground. Glad your having an awesome time! :) Hopefully its not too chilly!

I second Covent Garden. It's probably my favourite place to hang out in London, except maybe the parks. London is just a pretty great place in general. Oh! I forgot South Kensington. That's also awesome and full of free museums. Have fun!
